The Facility

We take pride in our clean and welcoming facility. Our trained staff practice disease prevention techniques, to protect the health and safety of all children in our care, such as:

  • Disinfecting classrooms, equipment, and toys multiple times daily.

  • Teaching and observing proper hand washing techniques. We even have child-size sinks in each classroom.

  • Preparing all food away from the classrooms in a commercial-grade kitchen.

  • Wearing disposable gloves to prevent the spread of germs when preparing food, and while attending to the sanitary needs of children.

  • Following cleanliness and sanitary standards from checklists for each room.

The Nutrition

At OPA, your child will enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks all prepared in our ServSafe approved kitchen. The kitchen staff insures:

  • All meals and snacks adhere to USDA Food Guidelines.

  • Mealtime is "Family-style" to encourage bonding, enhance social skills, table manners, and conversations with teacher and peers.

  • Menus are prepared in advance and are posted throughout the building.
